Dr Chris Parry is a former NATO commander and has studied the psychology of dictators. He spoke to Ben Kentish about what Russian drones in NATO airspace really means.

Vladimir Putin has come under fire from NATO leaders after Russian drones have appeared in the airspace in Poland and Estonia. NATO has issued a statement that 'strongly condemned' Russia and Putin.

Donald Trump has also piled on the pressure to Russia, claiming in the company of Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Ukraine could retake 'all' of its land from Russia.

Despite Donald Trump's comments, which also an affirmative 'yes' to the question of  whether NATO forces should 'shoot down' Russian drones, Dr Parry said 'the US isn't going to get involved'.

Dr Parry turned his attention to the psychology of Vladimir Putin and his army, predicting the Russian President will redeploy troops in Africa and Russia's Western flank, which borders NATO.

Recalling an annecdote, Dr Parry revealed the Russians are 'willing to throw corpses' at the Ukraine conflict, a chilling verdict on Moscow's often unclear intentions.
